While researching case information from California or Missouri, we found details that led us to you as a possible heir to “dormant” assets being held to claim.
We usually try to contact you by telephone and then a letter follows.
In most of the cases researched by Probate Research Group, the heirs do not know they have an inheritance waiting for them. Many times they do not even know the family member or friend of the family who actually owned the assets. This is because the heir may be several generations removed from the owner.
Many times there is no one still living to pass on family history or the current whereabouts of the heir(s) to the Courts to probate these assets or no Court proceeding was ever needed and these assets were sent directly to the State under the owner's name.
Another reason funds are sometimes turned over to the State is when a probate Estate is opened for some known assets of an owner and the probate Estate is ready to come to a close, but some of the funds are due unknown heirs or heirs that couldn't be located to receive these assets. In these cases, the Courts will allow the Executor (those in charge of administering the Estate) to turn those assets over to the State in the beneficary's name(s).
Sometimes the people are still living and we discover this during the research, but a larger number have passed on and their family has to be located.
PRG chose this case and started the research process to uncover the family history and then made attempts to contact the potential heirs discovered along the way.
We understand that you may be skeptical and concerned that this is a scam. There are many scams out there and we are well aware of this fact. We would probably feel the same if we did not work in this field.
We encourage you to check into our background. Denise's resume/work history, recommendation letters, registration letters from California and Missouri and additional testimonials are available upon request.

When you contact Denise for the first time, she will simply ask a few questions to see if her research matches the information you know about your family or friend.
Since most people live into their 70’s or longer, sometimes the person who passed away could be two or three generations back from you because of the way the laws are written. Many times, we are dealing with family born in the mid to late 1800’s and working our way forward to find surviving heirs of this family.
Sometimes they are not even family at all, but dear friends of the family that were named in their Will. Because of this, after we talk, you may need to talk to other family members about what they know or recall and then we can talk again.
